i have a pipe next to the breather pipes from the engine, it has fluid in and a cap on the end. anybody have any idea of what fluid is in there and what it does?

are u supposed to, or are u suppopsed to leave it. im a bit of an amateur at this stuff lol

theres a clue in the name "airbox drain" :lol:


its there so you can let any water out but make sure you plug it again

Drain it mate....just don't forget to put the bung back on the end when you've done it....... :wink:

I remember the first time I pulled the plug on mine, water poured out and I panicked, had no idea at all what it was, just thought I'd knacked my new bike :oops:

some bikes (including mine) use a sponge air filter soaked in oil, I could see that being the reason. not a clue if its not that kind of filter though :?
