klingelton Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 I started off from home this morning. 2 miles down the road, I had an itch in my ear. Quote
Glorian Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 I shake my helmet around at the traffic lights and hope it itches it Quote
Fozzie Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 I grab the helmet edge and force it up and down to scratch the itch Quote
Grumpy Old Git Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 No option for Fozzies answer (which I also do). Quote
newbikergm Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 Use it as an excuse to pull over for a brew a fag and a long leisurely scratch - oh and to text the boss that i'll be late. Quote
TooOldForThis41 Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 I voted persevere, but on the two occasions the itch has been leaving a trail of spider's web I have pulled over very quickly. One time, on the duel carriageway part of the A5, it pulled my visor up so quickly I pulled it off!!Smooth !! dispersion Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 when you go to space you get a little bit of velcro in your helmet so you can scratch your nose. Maybe invent somthing like this?!drgons den eat your heart out Quote
humbucker Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 At my age, an itchy ear may be a sign of hair growing, one of the few places it still grows. So you can never win by shaking your head violently and scaring road users around you. You have no choice but to pull over and deal with it. Mind you, the head shaking bit means you clear a path for yourself through the traffic. Quote
