Glorian Posted August 7, 2014 Posted August 7, 2014 Not sure if there is such a thing or if anyone would be interestedBut having a list (sticky) for people who have their own moto vlog channels. I personally just upload the near misses and funny things i see, but now more and more people are getting cameras (especially on here) It would be nice to check some out. Quote
Rod York Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 Not really a vlogging channel- certainly bike related and covers a trip through Europe>Turkey on a budget of £900...I currently working on a new trip & videoLink on this site viewtopic.php?f=93&t=52220&start=15 Quote
Glorian Posted August 8, 2014 Author Posted August 8, 2014 Create a thread I think he just did Haha fair enough!!! Will edit this later and stick mine on. work doesnt allow youtube! Able to get this stickied if it gets enough traction? =) Quote
Tango Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 It's up to Stu & Vicki really.....but I don't see any reason not to sticky it if it gets popular.....this part of the forum isn't high traffic.....so it wouldn't really clutter it up.... Quote
Stu Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 If it's used enough it won't need to be stickied But as bob said it won't be a problem Quote

Rod York Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 Nice commentary...but I would consider the visual content-it could be used against you in a court of law Quote
Joeman Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 Me and my bro have just set up a channel (Those Bros), we're doing motovlogs and edited entertaining tutorials and advice for bikers Big tip for you - learn to do life saver checks!! I dont think you once checked over your shoulder when changing road position... Quote
fq-craigus Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 Liked the commentary running enough but was frustrated with your riding throughout, looks like your still riding in India, and think how other road users view you and all other bikes ect. Lecture over, subscribed and liked good luck buddy Quote
Guest Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 Thanks for the feedback guys. I appreciate the advice, still learning driving in London.I may have picked up some bad habits from India however I am very aware on the roadsand know my own limits I have been involved in 2 crashes in my 10 years of riding (8x 3month trips to india and coming up 2 years in the UK) both in the UK. One was a lorry reversing into me in a lay-by and the other was a car pulling out from a blind left turning without looking.I have seen some terribly illegal driving on some of the biggest motovloggers channelsCan they use your videos as evidence if there is no evidence you are the person driving the bike and your number plate isn't shown? I'm pretty sure we all do some questionable moves at times Thanks again for the support and advice Quote

Mr Fro Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 I'm so bored of vloggers now.Tedious people droning on about even more tedious things. Often making a showcase of their bad riding. Quote

Mr Fro Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 My point is proven!Top tips slimjim:1 - You want to be ~2/3rds out in to the carriageway, not in the gutter.2 - Where practicable, a good minimum distance you should be from a stationary vehicle is the length of a car door.3 - You should practice doing lifesavers before and during turns/manoeuvres. Not sure if this is for me. But I have been riding for about 8 months now. So I am not going to be fantastic at riding, learning everyday though. Still, I love motovlogging, watching motovloggers and seeing their expereinces with riding motorbikes. Quote
Joeman Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 do you have anything interesting to talk about??whats your unique selling point that sets you apart from all other vloggers?Sell yourself well and i might watch a video.... Quote
Guest Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 Not sure if this is for me. But I have been riding for about 8 months now. That's about the same time as me and I could add to Fro mans list lol. I would say though, I got bored of one video after about 20s due to your voice tone which almost had me to sleep at my desk! Not trying to be rude but your voice is what's going to capture your audience... it will have to be engaging. I can't think of much more than listening to a vlogger bang on about rubbish and other road user's errors though so I'm biased lol Quote
fq-craigus Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 Problem with motovolggers is there is so many out there. If you think of a subject the chances are its been covered. Here is a rundown on some i watch and follow and why..... Baron von grumble-he makes me laugh with his rants, love his variety of bikes. He does some good editing and series like his euro tour and track days. He also engages the people.Royal jordonian- the sound of his nuda and s1000r is awsome, he doesnt talk much, great skill at filtering and mainly does daily observations. Riding with tom-fairly funny and the furst i subscribed to. Tritriplekylie and quinten redbeard- they are an item, seperate channels but do dual vlogs, very entertaining (potty mouths but i dont care) do tours, meet with other vloggers for rideouts, kylie does greenlaning. Moonfleet41- delboy is a legend, mainly does how to guides, build series and some rideouts. Im a member on his forum idiot collective and he makes a lot of apearances on there. Hope this helps in anyones quest to get subs Quote

As I said I am still gain the confidence what I need as (Due to crap in life that no one should go through) I have a low amount of confidence and trying to things which will boost my confidence, meet new people and have people to talk to have Motorbikes. When I'm not on camera and with my friends, they will all say that I am probably one of the funniest guys they know and I am funny without me even knowing it. Overtime if I continue doing this I will get more confident and be able to talk more about interesting, funny things. Thanks for all your responses. Quote
