Glorian Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 Question for a bandit owner. Can't find a reference to it anywhere in my haynes ( could be blind) But can someone advise which direction my fuel tap should face? Have up down and sideways. Don't want to be running around with reserve open if i can help it. Quote
eastanglianbiker Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 normally you will have run at the bottom off on the side and res at the top then look at the arm you move on the tap and it should have an arrow on it when arm facing down down arrow will be pointing down to on position Quote
eastanglianbiker Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 and if its fuel injected it wont have a reserve setting will have light on dash and or fuel gauge Quote
Glorian Posted December 6, 2014 Author Posted December 6, 2014 Google Why even bother posting..Little rusted on the fuel tap but there is writing there managed to make out "Res" and "on" Quote
oddballs61 Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 Google Why even bother posting..Little rusted on the fuel tap but there is writing there managed to make out "Res" and "on" Why bother posting your question,a search on google then (Images) would have given you the answer in about 5 seconds. Stu Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 Because if people don't post questions like this then Google won't find the answers! Plus if people are going to rely on Google I may as well shut this place down!! Quote
oddballs61 Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 I'm all for helping people but you have to try and help yourself first.Just coming to a forum to ask a question that can easily answered by a search engine is laziness.By all means ask questions in a forum if your struggling to find an answer.I've seen it before in forums where people ask such easily answered questions or don't even use the search option and what happens is people get fed up and stop answering any questions and end up leaving the forum altogether. DreamytimeEscorts Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 Google can help with "your" spelling too. Quote

And replying in you're manner causes people to leave forums too so refrain from replying if you don't have the answer to the question And saying Google is not the answer Quote
cockercas Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 It annoys the **** out of me, this forum isn't so bad but others I've been on the standard reply is 'use the search function' Well there's only so many questions that can be asked, forums would just grind to a halt and go stale. Quote
Stu Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 As they say there's no such thing as a stupid question Only stupid replies Quote

oddballs61 Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 Google can help with "your" spelling too.Maybe you should point out the spelling mistake. Quote
Grumpy Old Git Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 I usually point out spelling mistakes when there is a 'fun' element to it - Never where there is a hint of spitefulness.NB. The above is an extract from 'G@@gle' uner 'Forum Abuse'. Quote
