Bit of a difference! the JT rear sprockets are steel while the Renthal are aluminium - there are quite a few subtypes types of chain so it's be worth checking which one as this will affect the cost.

I've got to say, a 530 chain is pretty hefty for your bike size. If you're going to replace the lot maybe look in to a 525 or 520 set - it'll save a bit of weight and be cheaper although it will wear faster.

Been looking into this periodically.

Think i'm going to go with

25k warranty on it is a nice feature ;) but i wanted to up my rear to 47 and keep my front at 15 for slightly better rpm on my commute hopefully get some better fuel consumption. Also grabbing http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/motorcycl ... in-breaker along with it.

Will get these on order, fit it, and test it will report back =)

Heavy duty!

For the chain splitter, you might want to get one that has an adaptor for pushing the rivet plate on the link pins and for flattening out the rivets (if you chain doesn't use a split link). I have one of These and it works well.
