Mr Fro Posted March 10, 2015 Share Posted March 10, 2015 Bit of a difference! the JT rear sprockets are steel while the Renthal are aluminium - there are quite a few subtypes types of chain so it's be worth checking which one as this will affect the cost.I've got to say, a 530 chain is pretty hefty for your bike size. If you're going to replace the lot maybe look in to a 525 or 520 set - it'll save a bit of weight and be cheaper although it will wear faster. Mr Fro Posted April 2, 2015 Share Posted April 2, 2015 Heavy duty!For the chain splitter, you might want to get one that has an adaptor for pushing the rivet plate on the link pins and for flattening out the rivets (if you chain doesn't use a split link).
