Everything but the oil filter change went to plan.. oil filter is having none of it.. that's with the correct tool.


No leaks I can see. Though the exhaust at manifold sounds slightly different. That may be my ears though.

you sometimes have to butcher oil filters to get them off. stab them with a big screwdriver and wrench them round.

I was thinking exactly along those lines.... then I thought what if that doesn't go to plan. Doubt won that battle.

4 pipes at engine, one is blowing at manifold... I did it up in the wrong order instead of reversing the process. Gets hot instantly so made rectifying the problem painful. It'll wait til the morning. The noise is frustrating so it must be fixed.

It drives me f ING mad.. even when going or opening up that little pathetic hiss is there in the back ground. I dried to create a seal this morning. Just waiting on new parts to arrive. Resisting urge to exhaust putty it. Just be messy doing it that way.
