Tankbag Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 Dogs went nuts tonight in the garden & the reason for the madness was a hedgehog, so bike gloves on to move the critter out of the garden to the jungle area at the back. Named him Spike !I've worn bike gear & helmet when attacking wasps nests in the past. Quote
Tango Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 I used to use my Belstaff waxed jacket when I went out walking years back...... Used my lid and gloves when I did an outdoors gocarting thing in december a few years ago...... Quote
Joeman Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 Used one glove when doing a BBQ with no proper BBQ utensils and just a normal fork. My hand was cooking too, so used a leather bike glove to shield it from the heat. Other hand was fine as it had a cold beer to keep it cool. Quote
igingeee Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 A bus into town and a bus out to get to my dealership when picking it up from a service etc.Needless to say walking around town and sitting on a bus with full textiles gets some strange looks Quote

I forgot, we had a Cuban Knight Anole named Pete he was an evil prehistoric bugger, had to wear my super thick winter gloves when we moved him to a new viv & I could still feel the strength of his bite thru the gloves Edited April 4, 2015 by Tankbag Quote
Matt Strange Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 I've worn my full bike gear on a forklift joyride around the local builders merchant (I have a truck licence). Got some funny looks Quote

BikerMooFromMars Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 Hahaha, these are brilliant!I used my gloves to stop myself from getting rope burns when moving house - we were lowering possessions down from a first floor balcony to the ground in sand bags! Also wore my bike helmet when quad biking some years back...glad I did too, the helmets they supplied were pretty minging! .I'm sure I've worn bike gear for other things too, but these are all I can think of right now...
