KTM21 Posted November 22, 2015 Share Posted November 22, 2015 I need to get some more oil for my bike but I'm not sure whether to get some semi synthetic or fully synthetic. I doubt I'll even notice a difference but I thought I'd ask in case there's some big differences between them. I had a look on some forums and there was so many different things being said about each one, so does anyone here know a bit about the differences? When I used to own 2 strokes, I used to use Castrol R, purely for the smell alone. It ain't cheap, but ohh, the smell! I don't think they make it any more though. The other thing is my bike uses an oil injector so I can't use certain oils as they are premix only. My bike uses an oil injector so I just fill up a little tank with the oil and don't have to worry about manually mixing it with the petrol.
