Bill_on_a_bike Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 So I bought a cheap 'buzz box' welder a few months ago. A day or two later we were chucking out some 40mm box section at work.....well it was rude not to.Has now had a coat of hammerite. And yes it would have been easier to go out and buy one Anyone else made, bodged anything from scratch? Quote

Stu Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 I made an ABBA style stand I knocked it up out of some scrap before making a decent one Used it for 7 years and now my brother uses it! I must have made it well No pics of it though! I have also made a few four post sockets for swingarms which have done the job brilliantly Quote

Stu Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 no where to attach it to fro! and to be honest with the weight of the bike it would have to be something substantial Quote
Mr Fro Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 Just spent 5 mins studying the FJR - looks like the only place to lift from without taking plastic off is the kink in the frame rail. Quote
