Obviously I must read the 'wrong kind of news' - just went to the BBC News website.. and Germany is nowhere to be seen on the main page. aside from a story about Italians moving there. (and who can blame em)

In that story they do mention a million migrants have moved to germany in 2015.. but, what has that done? increase the population by 1.2%

big deal.

they also actually make stuff... and haven't farmed out all their manufacturing to china. and as a consequence have a much lower unemployment rate than here. they're also not ripped off by the government at every turn. and have more money in their pockets because they're not crippled by a mortgage or ripped off by extortionate rents.

Indeed.. the germans know a thing or two about racism. and wont stand for it.

They never stood idly by, they voted him in by believing the propogander that was continuously peddled, at one point during his dictatorship, during the persecution of the Jews and the quest for The Arian Race across Europe, he still had 97% of the public backing him.

It was Britain and France that stood idly by in the beginning that allowed it to happen.

Scaling over 1,000,000 people to a low percentage is a detached perspective, but when you consider even 1% a year is unsustainable you can see why people are getting tense. Especially when the people there don't see it as 1%, they see thousands of people coming to their town, then when a couple of bad eggs resort to crime, their view on these "strangers" becomes bad.

Mass migration of any kind, us going there, them coming here is a disaster waiting to happen. The culture clash causes all kinds of havoc, breeds hate, and then you segregate. In this case we've had hundreds of sexual assaults and it's divided people in Germany.

Point being, this fix is just a treatment of a symptom, not the cause. More effort to give these people their homeland back would be better.
