Ugh I never understand why people get on bikes without decent gear! In the summer I see them zooming around in shorts and tshirts. Yes I may be hot in my gear but I'm quite fond of my skin thanks!

I saw a bloke on his bike last week with no gloves

Crazy

Bit cold for no gloves. :roll: still when the frost bite sets in won't feel the road rash.

99% of the time you don't need your gear, so going out all kitted up for a crash could be seem by some as a little paranoid.

Having said that I nearly always wear full gear, but in the summer after a long hot ride in leathers its nice to go round the block in shorts to airate the old fruit and veg.. But have to be careful not to burn my thighs on the roasting hot frame!!

I've only ever ridden without my gear twice;

Once when I went to retrieve the BMW after it broke down at a friends house (could've sworn I left my bike jacket there, turns out I only left a helmet :roll: )

And once to drive to the One Stop on the other side of the housing estate to buy beer :lol:
