Knackered chain but I have to ride

After returning from a few days riding up to Skye and round about I got back and started cleaning my chain a noticed major tight spots (near bar tight), some sections are just right and some spots are pretty slack.

I need to ride 25 miles to my dad's garage to get it sorted. How should I adjust the chain for the short ride? Make the tight spots looser? Take up a little slack, or just leave it be??

An over tight chain is always worse than a slightly loose one. Make sure the tightest patches have some give in them to reduce the strain, 25 miles shouldn't be a problem as long as you're not hooning it about

That's what I'll do, I'll slacken the tight spots a little, I'll probably only sit about 50-60mph anyway. It's so tight that when it passes over the sprockets you can feel resistance in the wheel when on the centre stand. :crybaby:
