hardleydavidson
Hi,I've recently purchased a new front brake/master cylinder and the chamber is considerably larger than the old one, would this cause an issue? I need to change the brake fluid when I fit it but will the larger chamber insert more force?
Stu
You get more fluid flow so less lever movement before the brakes are on!
hardleydavidson
Thanks, shouldn't be a problem though?
eastanglianbiker
no it wont be a problem if anything it will just make the front brake sharper so take it easy at first
Mr Fro
Do you mean the bit you pour the fluid in to? If so then it makes no odds.If it's the cylinder itself then you'll move the lever less to engage the brakes but it'll require more force to provide the same braking effort.
