WilliamM
Got a Sena, which I like, but the only problem is I'm getting deafer as the years pass and the ear pieces for the Sena just stick inside the helmet, leaving lots of room for other noise to get in. Has anyone ever cut this off and managed to attach to a set of moulded earphones? (or just regular earphones)
JRH
Depends which Sena you have, but should be easy enough. Think some of the sena's have a second headphone port built in.
Arwen
Wearing a neck buff helps cut off noise I have noticed. However, one of the reasons I bought the Scala headset was that their earphones simply plug in using a 3.5mm jack. So you can plug any earphone in you like. Stu
You forgot blind....moved to the right section Most headsets these days have the earphones on a 3.5mm jack plug if yours isn't then it could be an excuse for an upgrade! or you could simply add a 3.5mm female plug to yours and then use any earphones you like Although I would probably go for custom earplugs with built in speakers not cheap but probably the best solution
Joeman
Seems crazy but try using a set of foam ear plugs. I find that I hear my senna better when wearing earplugs than without!
raesewell
Make sure the speakers are directly adjacent to your ears. It make a huge difference.
Chrissb6
We use Mee inear noise cancelling headphones as our helmets have little padding to accommodate the speakers that are suppose to fit into the helmets. We have no issues listening or communicating at almost any speed. We both use balaclavas to hold the units in place also this helps to seal the helmet reducing wind noise
