painkiller Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 Anyone used them before? I had oxford heated grips on one of my bikes when I brought it but never had the gloves. Any idea's on how they are in a tested capacity? Quote
Westbeef Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 Dare I ask why you want hot gloves if you don't feel the cold? Some reviews show people often encounter problems with them becoming faulty. Quote
painkiller Posted January 27, 2017 Author Posted January 27, 2017 Not for me, for my lady she does feel the cold terribly. They are not really worth the price they put out for then. What are good all rounder gloves for a pillion? that are warm and protective. Quote
Lateralus Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 I'd suggest one answer might be: whichever ones fit properly. No substitute for going to a shop and trying different pairs on, and just focus on the thick winter ones if that's the priority. Goretex might be worth considering if waterproofness is important too, but it will probably bump up the price. Quote
painkiller Posted January 27, 2017 Author Posted January 27, 2017 its getting her into the shop will be the main problem lol Quote
Six30 Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 its getting her into the shop will be the main problem lol Is it the daylight ? Can't you ring the shop and ask em to stay open late . Quote
painkiller Posted January 27, 2017 Author Posted January 27, 2017 Irrational fear of shops that are either small, about to open or about to close or when its empty and no other customers. Quote

Oasis Posted January 28, 2017 Posted January 28, 2017 I've just been reading about fitting Oxford heated grips to the pillion grab rails. Would that be of any use? Quote

You can get the wrap around ones that a lot of people use I have a set of spare heated grips wired in and under the seat and if the wife is a bit chilly she just holds on to them!obviously while not under the seat Quote
