Foxy Stoat seeks Pig Posted September 17, 2017 Author Share Posted September 17, 2017 I would have stuck (pun intended) to the superglue and be quick method get a screwdriver under it with a bit of WD40 they are usually really flexible and will allow a bit of stretch Unless they are heated grips! I have seen many people glue the grips on halfway and also at the same time find that their hands are glued to the grips Yea pretty much my worry. If they are stuck halfway then I'm in a world of s**t, maybe some kind of no more nails type adhesive, should give me a bit longer to slide the grip onto the bar.This is part of the Zap range of specialist super glues available from all good RC model shops. Foxy Stoat seeks Pig Posted September 20, 2017 Author Share Posted September 20, 2017 Left hand grip started slipping and rotating yesterday so I've superglued it in place. It's stuck solid for now, if its comes loose again i'm Araldite(ing) the t**t. Will tackle throttle side with some WD at the weekend, see if I can back it off the throttle grip and start over.
