hondaguy Posted April 25, 2018 Posted April 25, 2018 I have a honda cbf 125 and recently i bent my bars (low speed crash). Im looking to replace them and was wondering if anyone knew if there is a certain size of bars i need to get? Or does it not matter? I just do not want to buy some and then none of the controls swap over properly! Quote
Westbeef Posted April 25, 2018 Posted April 25, 2018 Are they actually bent or just misaligned with the front wheel? Quote
Bender Posted April 25, 2018 Posted April 25, 2018 Damn I'm sure the thread was titled bras, I lost interest now I re read it.Check you not just nocked them out of where they ment to be, twisted round, have you got a pic. Quote
hondaguy Posted April 25, 2018 Author Posted April 25, 2018 I havent gotten a picture but they are actually bent. its the right side of it that's bent Quote
megawatt Posted April 25, 2018 Posted April 25, 2018 Either buy the same for your bike or some Renthals. Loads of widths, rises and pullbacks. Quote
fastbob Posted April 25, 2018 Posted April 25, 2018 If you mean the diameter it's 7/8ths of an inch because motorbikes have been around long before the French metric system was imposed upon us . Harleys have inch thick bars but some of them are fake nowadays and some Renthal bars are even fatter in the middle . Avoid stainless steel bars because they are really hard to drill holes in I.e. to stop your RH switch gear moving when you twist the throttle. In other words your bars are standard thickness so as long as all the cables reach you can often get away with a SLIGHT change of style. Quote
