There used to be a good caff in the indoor market on the A49 at Church Stretton (just near the Long Mynd) or the cafe at the Midland Gliding Club (on top of the Mynd) take A458 north out of Bridgnorth then left onto B4371 just after Much Wenlock.

Directions to MGC here: https://www.midlandgliding.club/what-you-need-to-know/

Yes, loads of places to ride out to. Don't discount Bridgnorth itself - there's a really neat funicular railway and the bar at the Severn Valley Railway station has to be seen to be believed!

.....and the objection is???

We may fetch 1 or even both bikes for the ride out depending on beer consumption the night before

I'd say for the 125 friendly route. something like this:

Bridgnorth, A458 to Much Wenlock, A4169 to Ironbridge,

B4176(The Rabbit Run) to A454 Bridgnorth, then A442 to Quatt(Stop, food/drink)

Then ,Kidderminster, Bewdley (stop)

back to venue B4194, B4363. edited

Some good roads here with some fun bits.

Without sitting down with a map and working it out I'd say that's appx.70 miles.

Will be a slow ride because some of the roads are pretty challenging :D

yeah! pretty much but still under discussion

might have to cut it down a bit! add on getting food/drink etc. it's a bit long

crooked house is a no for groups of bikes!

how about quatt cafe instead?

Leave it with us and we'll sort something out

How many are coming and on bikes as well ?

At least 3 of us on bikes

This gave me a chuckle.

Mine just had a service ahead of the rally so I'll definitely be there
