Westbeef
If it's cranking like you say I'd be looking at spark plugs next. Did you replace the rectifier before the battery? If it's a charge issue the bike doesn't crank typically
Stu
when it stops open the tank and try again It could be a blocked breather causing a vacuum in the tank and stopping the fuel flow to the carbs
fastbob
So it must re start eventually. How long do you have to wait until it starts up again and runs for another 20 minutes ? And when it dies, how exactly does it die ? Does it just stop or does it cough and splutter or go on to 2 cylinders . This information might give us something to go on . Stu
Try running with the fuel tap on the Prime position. They don't have a fuel tap
fastbob
Try running with the fuel tap on the Prime position. They don't have a fuel tap Surely they have some kind of vacuum actuated tap ? How do you select reserve ? I guess your going to tell me you have to rely on the fuel gauge . Ahh , is this a fuel injected bike then ? I'll get me coat . Stu
I believe it does have a vacuum line to the fuel pump
