Asbo41 Posted October 24, 2018 Posted October 24, 2018 Hey all,Im thinking of re positioning my ignition switch. ive checked my wiring and its a 5 wire on/off switch. will any motorbike on/off 5 wire switch work? Quote
Mr Fro Posted October 24, 2018 Posted October 24, 2018 It can be made to work - depends how much effort you want to put in. Quote
fastbob Posted October 24, 2018 Posted October 24, 2018 The main issue will be the configuration of the block connectors not matching and different manufactures using different wire colouring systems. If you are prepared to do a bit of cutting and soldering and you have access to the wiring schematics for both bikes then , yes . Anything is possible with some effort. If you just bung on any old 5 wire switch then I'd get in a good stock of fuses and make sure the fire extinguisher is near at hand . Good luck Quote
