Bryera Posted July 1, 2019 Posted July 1, 2019 Have no idea if this is in the right place lol but I was doing some spray painting and I had some left so decided to lightly paint the engine on the bike and it looks ace but know it's not going to stay like that when it get hot. What will it do will it just fade again or will it make a mess it's only a halffords can Quote
dynax Posted July 1, 2019 Posted July 1, 2019 Depends on what bits you've painted, and if you cleaned and prepared the metal properly, used a primer or not, but at the end of the day, if you're happy, that's all that matters Quote

Time will tell though. Quote
fastbob Posted July 23, 2019 Posted July 23, 2019 If you have painted it silver there is a good chance that it will turn gold before it falls off . Quote

Bianco2564 Posted July 23, 2019 Posted July 23, 2019 Regarding primer, I've had much better results with etching primer bought from a proper paint suppliers rather than std primer from the likes of Halfuds Quote
