I've heard about this but had never been until last Wednesday, it's actually quite a popular meet - I'd guess around 100 bikes at the peak with people coming and going all the time. This is less than half of it:

The fish and chips were a bit ropey and expensive but I'd go again. Anyone here ever go?

I went back at the end of may, was a decent turnout. Can also flick between here and caffeine and machine, seems to be what most of the bikers were doing hence a lot of groups coming and going

You wont if you use that postcode.. as its a fair distance away. a much better one is to head for "Barnabys fish Restaurant" which is almost directly opposite. corner of sheep street and Waterside. post code CV37 6EF

Bancroft gardens is on "Waterside" which is a one way and best approached from Sheep Street. or by turning into it off Bridge street.

I've been there a couple of times . I've always thought the fish and chips were ok actually .

The chips were okayish, the fish was old and the batter more like wet cardboard..

I arrived at 18:30 and there was plenty going on but it seemed to peak at around 19:30. after that more people were leaving than were turning up.
