dphpcx19 Posted December 8, 2019 Posted December 8, 2019 So I’ve been browsing through different forums looking for advice, but nothing I’ve found so far works!I have a 125 Honda PCX which I only purchased a couple of months ago. I’ve haven’t rode it in a little over a week. All of a sudden the key won’t work! I’ve tried moving the steering whilst turning the key, lubricated the keyhole, even tried the pencil idea! Nothing works. The steering isn’t locked and the keys are brand new of course! So it can’t be due to an old, damaged key. It allows me to turn the key to the left to lock the steering but won’t turn the right at all. I can’t even open the seat to get to the manual for some advice! Can anyone help?! Quote
Six30 Posted December 8, 2019 Posted December 8, 2019 It’s got to be your keys if you can’t undo seat lock as well , weird, both locks playing up at same time . Quote
dphpcx19 Posted December 8, 2019 Author Posted December 8, 2019 Going to find the spare keys now! Fingers crossed they work Quote

Feel so stupid now Very confused why my other keys don’t work. They’re not bent, worn or damaged in anyway! Quote
Six30 Posted December 8, 2019 Posted December 8, 2019 At least it’s sorted No you’ll have to get another spare set cut. Quote

Is your normal key an original one that came with the bike or a recut? I've found that cut keys don't work well in Hondas. Quote
Mississippi Bullfrog Posted December 8, 2019 Posted December 8, 2019 You said the key was brand new... I suspect that's the problem. It's not cut accurately. Quote
