Looking for some advice, am new to biking and am looking at getting a bit hands on with my bike, i'm after some easy jobs (even if they're pointless) that i can do to my bike. Thanks.

nothing is pointless with motorcycles, your life depends on it being 100% reliable and roadworthy, any jobs no matter how small or seemingly insignificant are all important :thumb:

Without knowing your competence at mechanical things I'm hesitant to mention things to do! :lol:


Cleaning, Adjusting & lubing the chain is usually a good starting point. As mentioned see if you can get the haynes book or try searching online for the service manual in pdf form.


Youtube is very useful as well.

Define easy jobs!


A full engine strip down and rebuild is an easy job to me but may not be for you.


Are you handy with a spanner etc? or are you totally new to all this?


Feel free to start a post in the pitstop section of what you are looking to do and members will guide you through it if need be :thumb:
