Simon Davey Posted February 20 Posted February 20 @Essexboy loves Suffolk cake, in fact, he's caked his new bike. Come on, admit it, you've found every dirty road you could, just to make the XT look authentic I used to do it with a Landrover the missus had, until one day she mentioned it... 1 Quote

Yes, the Nolan is a little quieter. I forgot my ear plugs today, and didn't feel as though I was being deafened. My thread regarding helmet liners, is about my XXL i90 Been using my Nolan for a week now. I'm liking the wider field of view compared to my Arai. It's a lot quieter too. Which is nice. It seems to pinch the frame of my glasses against my right ear for some reason. Though it's getting better. I would still prefer a double D style chin strap. But I'm getting used to it. 2 Quote

Shepherd Posted February 20 Posted February 20 I'm also in the Nolan 100-5 club. Is the chin strap extra tight for you guys too, or do I have too many chins? 2 Quote
Simon Davey Posted February 21 Posted February 21 @Shepherd Yes, I just get 3 clicks of the ratchet. It's not uncomfortable though. 2 Quote

But you're right, very distracting @Simon Davey I think it's just two clicks for me. A little fiddly when try to undo it too. Overall it's the best lid I've had though. Quote
bud Posted February 21 Posted February 21 1 hour ago, Angela Collen said: @Shepherd yes my nolan 100-5 is same as Simon's three clicks of ratchet, at first it felt a little tight, but quickly got used to it and I like this system over the d ring type, so much quicker and I know it's done up properly, @bud my glasses are quite thin, so mine go in easily and are comfy no pinching, do you have larger frames? Hopefully it will soften over time, you really don't want an uncomfortable helmet, quite distracting It's getting more comfortable. So hopefully it will be okay soon. Not loads of clicks on the chin strap for me. Usually 4. But I'm wearing a balaclava under the helmet this time of year. 2 Quote
Fiddlesticks Posted February 21 Posted February 21 I always give my size 62 N100-5 two clicks over the neck tube. One would probably do it but I'm a bit OCD about it being on the last notch 3 Quote

V650 Posted February 21 Posted February 21 The chin strap on mine was a little tight alright when I first tried it on So quick adjustment of the buckle and stretched it out to 4 or 5 clicks with neck scarf under it sometimes the buckle can be hidden in the cheek pad 3 Quote

Tinkicker Posted February 24 Posted February 24 Helmet lock for the 175 arrived from Singapore today, so got that fitted. Not a particularly onerous task. One screw. 3 Quote
Punts Posted February 24 Posted February 24 Oil and filter change on the ZZR1400, took the silencers off for a good clean and makes in easier to remove the swing-arm, rear shock and linkage. Will give them a clean and grease all the bushes and bearings. Four years old and not been done, they get done every two years from now on. 4 Quote
