Fish Posted December 9, 2020 Posted December 9, 2020 I'm not looking forward to the emergency swerve section otherwise I'm not that worried about the Mod 1. Fish Quote

My bullsh&t detector got triggered. Why does it not say "which gives best tyre grip possible both in dry and wet". WTF means "optimal"?? Quote

Fish Posted December 10, 2020 Posted December 10, 2020 I believe that they lay a different tarmac on the test centre's that what we would see out on the roads and it costs them a small fortune. Fish Quote

Fish Probably what we used to call "Shellgrip" fine and grippy and usually only seen in towns on the approach to zebra crossings and some junctions. When I despatched in London in the 80`s you got to look for it in the wet dark evenings and breathe a sigh of relief if you saw it lol. I don`t know if the name is correct but speak to anyone who survived those days and I am sure they would recognise the term. Cheers Ian Quote
