Yea of course. I don't mind the rain (I do a lot of cycling in grim conditions) but it would be nice to get a dry day :classic_laugh:

Well we get a lot of bad weather and it’s pot luck this time of year to get anything that even looks nice, but look how much you are going to enjoy the spring.👍👍

I'm not looking forward to the emergency swerve section otherwise I'm not that worried about the Mod 1.

Th test is on on "high-grip tarmac surface, which gives optimal tyre grip in both dry and wet conditions".

My bullsh&t detector got triggered. Why does it not say "which gives best tyre grip possible both in dry and wet".

WTF means "optimal"??

"optimal
[ˈɒptɪm(ə)l]

ADJECTIVE
  1. best or most favourable;"

I believe that they lay a different tarmac on the test centre's that what we would see out on the roads and it costs them a small fortune.

Probably what we used to call "Shellgrip" fine and grippy and usually only seen in towns on the approach to zebra crossings and some junctions.

When I despatched in London in the 80`s you got to look for it in the wet dark evenings and breathe a sigh of relief if you saw it lol.

I don`t know if the name is correct but speak to anyone who survived those days and I am sure they would recognise the term.

Cheers

Ian
