Missed two sets on eBay which were £70 each, they sold before I officially took this on, typical! Anyone got any lying around they would sell? Maybe after more parts yet too... My local garage does a lot of jobs on Rally/motorcross tye competition cars. One of the popular mods is to fit motorbike carbs, appears it works well for more power and better throttle response. As it turns out they are 36mm mikuni carbs too, good shout, apparently the engine is canted at a different angle, but I haven't found the angle figures yet, could still work, thanks. The carb rubbers should hold the carbs horizontal. You need to check the spacing between the carbs as well. Adjustment might be difficult. Heavycheese Posted December 22, 2020 Author Share Posted December 22, 2020 It's ok, luck upon luck!, when I picked up this basket case from the seller (who assured me there were no carbs) there was a box of parts, with carbs sat at the bottom of it, cue one very happy me.
