Shepherd Posted January 21, 2021 Author Posted January 21, 2021 Thanks for the replies everyone, appreciated. So a bike dolly it is then! I think I'll have a go at bringing the level up to meet the base without a lip, if I can find a cement that won't crack, being quite a thin layer. The exterior levelling compound sounds better to resist cracking. If I can avoid the extra height that bigger castors will bring, so much the better. It was me that laid both lots of concrete, and I left a difference in levels to avoid rain seeping in - wish I'd thought about access first Quote

Was thinking about a plywood board reinforced with GRP and ball transfer instead of castors but would be too big and heavy. This one in steel profiles is perfect. Quote
dynax Posted January 21, 2021 Posted January 21, 2021 I have one of these, and is perfect for me to move them about in the polytunnel, but that has a smooth floor, but did think about getting another and use some plywood to join them together and put on bigger castors, so I could push them round from front to back and vice versa.
