Check if all your safety switches run through your starter relay or other relay. Ive seen this where all switches are working but the relay pins get dirty or corrode, more so after a long rest. a guy i know his stopped mid ride on a motorway and it was this.

Im sure the fazer i was fixing was this too after many attempts at clutch cleaning etc.

Don't disturb him he's been stripping out the clutch for the last 9 days .😂

As I pop first gear with the clutch still pulled in, the bike tugs forward & the engine cuts out.
Tried several times, no dice.

How has that got anything to do with stuck switches ?

Sorry - I need to get this forum to email me when there is a reply to the posts!
The intermittent cut out happened again.
I had started it no problem this morning & let it run for 5 minutes.
This evening, I had it out of the garage to show someone who came around to view it before purchase.
It started just fine. Let it run for a bit while they looked at at.
Switched it off, went inside to look at the MOT listings and service history.
They said their goodbyes.
Put the key in the slot - tuned to the fully on position. Green light for neutral, another red light.
No whirring sound - I think it is the sound it makes when it puts a bit of petrol in the engine?
Push the starter button - nothing.
Battery is fully charged.

I do have the manual.
I do have break down cover with a bank account deal.

Panic Over!

It was the shut off switch!

Starts sweet as a nut.
