Hi all,

I've owned the Oxford Boss Disc Alarm lock with the 'free' hex chain for about 7 years now. The problem I have is that the protective sleeve for the chain is now shedding its fabric all over the place and leaves a trail of mess wherever I use it. I've been trying to find a replacement sleeve online but no luck yet. Has anyone else had this issue and were you able to track down a replacement sleeve?

Thanks in advance!

Just Google 'Motorcycle chain sleeve'. Plenty of them available.

I used an old inner tube cut in half,  cable tie at each end, but that's because I'm cheap! 😆

Make one, use some heavy duty material or even from the leg of an old pair of jeans, no point paying for something that can be knocked up in a few minutes on a sewing machine :thumb:

I ordered this. Obviously it didn't fit my chain (it was too narrow / tight). Had to return it and pay return postage so that cost me £4.

I have searched high and wide and there don't appear to be any replacement sleeves available online. I also spent a while talking to the bloke at Infinity this morning who told me he's never seen them being sold as spare parts.

So now I'm actually going to buy a cheap new chain for £30, just so I can use the sleeve. Absolutely ridiculous.

I don't have a sewing machine.

Drop Oxford customer services an email. They've been helpful when I've contacted them in the past.
