Gerontious Posted February 11, 2022 Posted February 11, 2022 Have to admit every time I see one I’m very tempted by the Honda X-ADV. 750cc retuned NC engine proper gear box with DCT. All the ergonomics of a scooter including footboards but underneath is a ‘proper’ motorbike ready for touring as well as anything else you want to throw at it. 5 Quote

I’ve been out on a couple and really enjoyed the experience. The only complaint is that the seat to floor distance is further than you’d expect. Mostly due to the seat shape, I think. It does make popping a foot down at rest needs to be a considered action. And that from a 5’ 10” GS rider who has his seat set to high at times. Quote

I kinda know that if I tried one. I would want to buy one. And that’s something I just can’t risk. The Africa Twin will be paid for this year and I want to enjoy that, special feeling for a year or two before I think about moving it on and changing. I’m 6’5… 6’7 in my boots so the higher the betterer. 2 Quote
