That's quite a rare bike anyway, so finding one unused is surprising.

They were not a great seller when new, so probably not worth a massive amount. It's interesting though.

I've had two of them before they started going for silly money . Really great fun to ride and comfortable too .

I know at least a couple ended up as beach racers. They were great on the sand.

Had to Google why it was called the Ascot. Just knew it wasn't to do with horse racing.

Well not necessarily . The Ascot track in the US is named after the English Ascot .
