Tested the opacity of the glass Bike bulbs tend to vary in their construction to be either : Heavy duty to deal with the extra vibration The filament may be shorter/thinner to reduce the amount of current required to power ( due to mc electrical system vs car system differences ) The glass can be lighter again to combat the current requirements .
