TimR Posted July 9, 2022 Posted July 9, 2022 So have you A. Measured the filament length of both bulbs B. Measured the filament thickness of both bulbs C. Tested the opacity of the glass Bike bulbs tend to vary in their construction to be either : Heavy duty to deal with the extra vibration The filament may be shorter/thinner to reduce the amount of current required to power ( due to mc electrical system vs car system differences ) The glass can be lighter again to combat the current requirements . Just because they use same bulb code does not make them the same bulb . Quote
