Phone mount.

This question pops up regularly, every 2-3 years for me. That seems to be how long they last.

I have used x mounts and am presently on one of these:

Its done it’s job for 3 years and is only just big enough.  However I would like one that will survive a bit longer with wireless charging.

My phone is waterproof but big Dimensions: 6.76 x 3.21 x 0.42 inches (171.64 x 81.5 x 10.64mm). Plus a couple of mm all round for the case.

I am pondering one of these:

Is more expensive better?  Suddenly I am up to £50.

Anyone any experience of these?

I don’t want brackets on my phone case, it’s big enough and spends most of its life off the bike and in my pocket.

If you really must mount your phone then check out quadlock

I have gone off the idea due to screwing my camera up on the last phone

Make sure you get a vibration damper

But be prepared to pay more than £50

The problem with quad lock is the buck my phone doesn’t have specific case the universal kits are to big.

I must admit the vibration damper is one of the attractions of the one above.

however with 2 bikes I am 1/3 of the way to dedicated sat nav.
I am in no rush at the moment.
