Born again on Tyneside

Hi all, 62 year old retired bloke. Not had a bike full time since 1995 and only a few rides on mates bikes since then.

 

Still fit but a sports bike wouldn't be for me, never was.

 

Decided I would get back into it, winter project for something I can get back on the road in the summer.

 

In the past I have owned various Honda 4s and Yamaha 2 strokes.

 

Quite fancy a honda hornet or similar.

I nearly bought a Suzuki RF900 that is up for sale near me as a winter project, only 900 quid but I think after such a long lay off it would be a bit much for me.

 

Bizarrely my wife is encouraging me. I think she wants the insurance money.

 

First bike I ever bought was a RD 250, last of the air-cooled models, crashed it the same day.
