Popular Post Bender Posted June 5 Popular Post Share Posted June 5 I bought a hinge cutter jig, exciting times, I usually just make a ply one, and use the cutter freestyle,thought I would be posh. First time out, I turned it upside down at some point and didn't realise one of the black locating dowels fell out and vanished without trace. Could copy the remaining one but thought I would mail trend and ask if they have a part number for the bit I lost. No they said but if I send proof of purchase they would just send me one, brilliant, screen shot from Amazon, job done, mail back next day to say thanks, received and had already been sent, back from work tonight wife says envelope for me, great a new dowel, possibly 2 so I have a spare. Ohhh that's not from them it's a big envelope, ohh it is, they sent me the entire jig and cutter as a gesture of good will....this all in the space of 2 days. 10 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Not long ago I bought a pair of Swarovski binoculars from a UK dealer and on getting home I found the focus ring would not lock in place. The dealer registered the issue with Swarovski as he didn't have an identical pair to replace them with. Swarovski Austria sent a replacement pair to my home in three days without me having yet returned the faulty ones to the dealer. I mentioned on here also that Vantrue (front & rear motorcycle camera) sent me a complete rear unit f-o-c from China as I cut the rear cable fitting my top box rack. Tiggie Posted June 5 Share Posted June 5 As much grief ( rightly in some cases) Amazon gets, I can't fault the returns service I've experienced with them. Our air fryer went bang (while still in warranty) I went onto my amazon account and registered the fault, they then sent me an identical air fryer out the next day and asked me to send the old one back (in the packaging from the new one) which involved just dropping it off at local shop. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

keith1200rs Posted June 6 Share Posted June 6 Swarovski have always been good at service. I accidentally caught my binoculars when slamming the boot lid which broke the strap mounting lug. They were around 25 years old a the time.
