Time for change

Back in the 90's i spent a lot of time in Malaysia and particularly the holiday destination Langkawi Island. It was weird - one half had really nice hotels with beautiful sea views over the Andaman Sea. The other side was industrialised to hell and the locals really couldn't give a toss. Just used to find piles of garbage randomly dumped.

Langkawi keeps popping up in the wife's constant holiday babblings.......

That's all I need to know tbh I've had a good look on Google earth and it's never got me excited.

The problem with Australia is that is full of things that want to kill you

Not to mention wildlife

Then Perth will flood every 6 months there is a permanent water shortage 

Then I don't think a ferry from Australia to any Asian country will be affordable and I want to ride from Indonesia/Malaysia to Japan.

Why I want to stick with south Asia is pretty much the cost of living that is very low even in Indonesia.

Settling in north Bali will be the less touristic area of the island, Bali have less than 10% Muslim population meaning they are less judgemental. Buddhist culture is very near my way of life, so I don't see being a problem.
