S-Westerly Posted December 30, 2024 Posted December 30, 2024 Back in the 90's i spent a lot of time in Malaysia and particularly the holiday destination Langkawi Island. It was weird - one half had really nice hotels with beautiful sea views over the Andaman Sea. The other side was industrialised to hell and the locals really couldn't give a toss. Just used to find piles of garbage randomly dumped. 2 Quote

husoi Posted December 31, 2024 Author Posted December 31, 2024 The problem with Australia is that is full of things that want to kill you Not to mention wildlife Then Perth will flood every 6 months there is a permanent water shortage Then I don't think a ferry from Australia to any Asian country will be affordable and I want to ride from Indonesia/Malaysia to Japan. Why I want to stick with south Asia is pretty much the cost of living that is very low even in Indonesia. Settling in north Bali will be the less touristic area of the island, Bali have less than 10% Muslim population meaning they are less judgemental. Buddhist culture is very near my way of life, so I don't see being a problem. Nevertheless, I really appreciate all the comments you guys are giving me 5 Quote
