onesea Posted March 7 Posted March 7 Does anyone have any experience? https://www.diy.com/departments/outdoor-garden/garden-power-tools/pressure-washers/DIY780421.cat?Corded%2Fcordless=Cordless Are they worth it or is a garden spray better? https://www.diy.com/departments/outdoor-garden/garden-power-tools/pressure-washers/DIY780421.cat?Corded%2Fcordless=Cordless Tempted by electric for light jobs. 1 Quote
Simon Davey Posted March 7 Posted March 7 Everything on the B&Q page you listed wasn't available in store. Although they're part of B&Q, Screwfix do this, which is tempting as I have a couple of the Titan batteries already. 1 Quote
Tiggie Posted March 7 Posted March 7 Seen a few being used on various youtube videos. From what I can see they are good for washing cars, bikes etc but don't expect them to be up to patio flags etc. Never used one myself though. Quote
billysugger Posted March 7 Posted March 7 They are powerful enough to cut into tarmac on the narrowest setting, but absolutely great for cleaning your bike 1 Quote
RAYK47 Posted March 14 Posted March 14 what do you do about water then? do you still have to run a hose or can it use a bucket? Quote

Mold Posted March 14 Posted March 14 I have one, it was cheap enough, I think I paid around £17 - £20 for it. It has several nozzles for different spray types but I've never changed the standard one, it also has a small bottle that you can fill with washing up liquid so it sprays soapy water. It came with two batteries. I have a water barrel and I run it from there but a bucket would do, just weigh down the end of the water pipe so it doesn't float. The jet stream is adequate but it's not powerful. As for are they worth it, well £20 isn't a great deal, and for me it's a lot more convenient than using a hose and I have the added bonus of the batteries match some of my power tools! 2 3 Quote
onesea Posted March 23 Author Posted March 23 Well maybe afew days ago I got click happy Not a named brand but quite predictably Temu special: This one… @. £22.89 What can I say after one days use…. No it won’t remove road grime, it will remove salt sand soil. It’s not going to remove road film, or bring the green out of your decking. However it’s unlikely to have, enough power to get to far into your electrics or bearings, The spray foam bottle gave a reasonable foam. As at this stage I normally give the foam a wipe, so it worked for me. Then it did a good job on the rinse. Of course a 240 jetwash is better, however 2 buckets of water will clean your bike if you don’t have power and a hose. Would a hose attachment with good water pressure be better maybe, you would use allot water. Would I buy a superdooper £150 version I would have to see one working. Quote
daveinlim Posted March 23 Posted March 23 Ive got the worx one. Jet wash is over stateing it's ability. It had enough power to wash the bike but won't remove dirt like a jet wash at a car wash. i use the spray foam bottle to cover in suds then wash the bike and then clean off with a spray again. It's not got anywhere near the power of a mains operated machine but I like that knowing that it's not going to damage electrics. Quote
