Grumpy Old Git Posted March 16 Posted March 16 Take it easy. Give yourself room in traffic. Watch out on blind bends on country roads. Be sure you can safely stop within the distance you can see. ENJOY! 3 Quote

Fiddlesticks Posted March 16 Posted March 16 Never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese. 1 2 Quote

bonio Posted March 16 Posted March 16 Don't ride in the kerb. If people want to overtake you, make them do it properly; don't encourage them to hoosh up within a few inches of you. So, ride in the middle of your lane (this is the rule for beginners) or else in the track of the cars' right hand wheels. 2 Quote
Bender Posted March 16 Posted March 16 Welcome, I passed on same bike Ride when ever you can, stick to your position, keep an eye on maintenance tyre pressure chain etc, keep practicing anything your not 100% on including braking and relax 2 Quote
bud Posted March 17 Posted March 17 Welcome to the forum. Stay away from overbanding and drain covers in the wet. Don't let cars intimidate you. And hold your position in the road. 2 Quote
