Susieque Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 HiyaI ride YBR too and my boots are ok. They're not very expensive but I can't remember what make they are - and they're at Rennies house ATM! Sorry. Will find out Quote
Korben Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 New boots can sometimes be a bit stiff. I struggled when I first got mine, but they are ok now...Drop into the newbie section and introduce yourself mate!! Quote

pinki-88 Posted May 13, 2009 Author Posted May 13, 2009 i didnt know they did that.do you know if you can do that with the ybr? Quote
Guest Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 Pretty sure most bikes have some sort of adjustment there.. Quote
techno Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 Should be a case of undoing a screw and moving it round a shaft to adjust it! Quote
pinki-88 Posted May 13, 2009 Author Posted May 13, 2009 im completely rubbish at this sort of thing i will check it outthanks Quote
Mightycaz Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 I had the same problem on my CBT, i blame the gap between peg and gear lever being too small for my man feet and boots as the reason i failed first time around, my cruiser has got a shed load of clearance between peg and lever tho so no problems now!! Guest Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 if it has a rod you need to loosen the locknut at each end and turn one way or other - one way raises other lowers, make sure you have enough thread though - if unsure find someone to show you or bike shop. ( you need 4-5 pitches, or complete turns, minimum inside each end)if it is a lever that bolts to engine shaft then take bolt out and move it a tooth on the shaft - best way is to mark a line first so you know how many to adjust, and so you can go back to start if it feels wrong.. Synroto Posted May 18, 2009 Posted May 18, 2009 I have exactly the same problem with the boots I brought; when I tried to ride with them I was just catching the side of the gear lever so gave up with them. I also ride a YBR Quote
