Mod 1 again, next friday :)

Recommended Posts

Well, my license has finally been returned after 3 long weeks of waiting. Instantly grabbed the phone and booked the mod 1.

Friday the 28th of august (my pay day too, so hopefully might be a double whammy) at 12:03. 40 quid which includes a pre test 30 min mooch on the YBR. Same as last time but i'm going to get used to the brakes!

So bring on attempt number 6

Hey best of luck...........one thing i did on the emergency stop was not use the back brake and just cover it with my foot, i was on a ybr 125 and just using the front brake stopped me no problem and without any chance of skidding through over use of back brake. i only used the back brake to steady me through the slow Manoeuvres.

Should be: front, back (not too heavy though) front harder..

That's what i was told on my CBT anyway, and that's what i do now, practised it earlier and had no problems :P

EDIT: Goodluck :D

I would like to do mine soon. U turns etc i find really easy now.

Try doing a u turn on an RS, then try it on a YBR, that'll really show you how easy they are to handle

yep i'm fine with the braking method, i just didn't get used to them!! it was quite old so the brakes weren't that good, it was either off or on (poorly)

Got all my documents ready to the test. Hmm where's my license, left it in the car. Oh, dad's took the car to work, just a little detour on the way to the test centre. Call up dad, turns out he's on the motorway, heading to cainbride  No chance of getting the license to me time so had to cancel :crybaby:
