Dean01982 Posted November 11, 2020 Author Posted November 11, 2020 Thanks for the replies, I managed to get it to fit into the H1 side, left hand side of my fazer 1999, the right side fit perfectly using the supplied socket adapter, but the left been a H1 bulb originally needed some persuasion, the socket that came with the new (bulbs) was way to big so not only did I chop off the lugs I had to cut out a couple of slots so it would marry up, if any one would like a picture then il happily remove it to show you how I did it. Lights look great now there working and the difference is huge. Cheers Quote
Dean01982 Posted November 11, 2020 Author Posted November 11, 2020 Above pictures with led lights in, looks way brighter on person, il get another when its dark Quote
Stu Posted November 11, 2020 Posted November 11, 2020 I left work at 5 and had them fitted by 1740 Massive difference although the first few pics don't do them justice! First two pics are about a metre away from my garage door with old lamps on low then high beam These are the new LED's on low then high beam And obviously outside on low then high with the new LED's! I wish I had taken some before and afters outside too The difference is huge! Quote

Tidy work, my issue was the left hand side light was a different bulb to the right. Seem good bulbs tho and hopefully they are fine for an MOT Quote

Dean01982 Posted November 13, 2020 Author Posted November 13, 2020 Stu, do you know if a fazer 1999 left side bulb is h1 or h7? I I keep getting 2 different results when searching Quote
Stu Posted November 13, 2020 Posted November 13, 2020 Stu, do you know if a fazer 1999 left side bulb is h1 or h7? I I keep getting 2 different results when searching This is what I have found For whatever reason the offside light on the Fazer only comes on when it’s on main beam (although it has a H4 dual filament bulb fitted). This leaves only the nearside (single filament H1 bulb) for dipped beam Which if only one comes on at high beam then that will be the H1 and H4 on the opposite side It should tell you what they are on your old bulbs Quote
Dean01982 Posted November 13, 2020 Author Posted November 13, 2020 Nothing on it at all unfortunately, this is the bulb tho Quote
Stu Posted November 13, 2020 Posted November 13, 2020 Nothing on it at all unfortunately, this is the bulb tho Does that bulb pull out the holder? Looks like a H1 Quote
Dean01982 Posted November 13, 2020 Author Posted November 13, 2020 No its well and truly attached to the holder, it certainly looks like a H1 tho. Cheers for your help. Quote
