  8. I'm not saying your wrong it could be a number of those things or just one
  9. it could be a number of things! suzuki have a habit of running all power through one wire and the front multi plugs short out and pop the main fuse or melt also the reg/rec wiring always corrodes if they get a bit shitty which will generate heat on the plugs melting them they have been like this for years trust me I know I have modded all mine to stop this sort of thing happening plus I now get better power supply to the battery and to all the bikes electrics
  10. check all the multi plug connectors on the from they are known for shorting and going up in smoke
  11. Why should we delete something we've put on the forum

    Starter relay?

by passing is for testing purposes to rule things out
  13. wear what you like!
  14. all these need collecting and putting in one place
  15. if you dont know what you weld with then forget it as they arent cheap and you will need a good weld on it I wouldn't buy a welder just for that this is a very cheap stick welder that I wouldnt even piss on http://www.yourspares.co.uk/parts/ys160 ... tAodhgQA7Q
  16. weld is stronger then the material you weld to
  17. what I would do is weld a nut on to it which will give you something to turn it with plus the heat will help it come off
  18. you cant compare a SV to a blackbird for handling and added weight? yeah my 1997 model so old weighs 191kg an sv650 weighs 169kg I really cant see the weight been an issue there
  19. looks like he was doing 75/80 max on the straighter bits of road and a lot slower through the corners. Thats not even fast enough to get banned, for a 1000cc that IS slow haha so your laughing that its slow then you complain about others riding too fast!! oh by the way anyone can do 110 in a straight line! where you loose out is getting to the speeds as quick as them it takes you twice as long
  20. scroll through this and read my instructions viewtopic.php?f=32&t=48166 also buy decent ear plugs these are what I use as do a lot of bikers http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/40-EAR-FX-Sof ... 483ffde80a
  21. well your not putting them in right mine never come out! anyway I got some mould your own earplugs they was only £15 and are supposed to be as good as custom ones! they are really comfy although anything above about 50 and I don't like them they don't make a huge difference I prefer foam ones but for £15 you may aswell try them http://compare.ebay.co.uk/like/33075106 ... =66&ff19=0

    gear lever problem

well the oil is in the crankcase but whats stopping it going down is a mystery to me unless when it was on its side fuel has pissed through the carb and filled the crankcase I would be looking at dropping the oil and see how much comes out and give it a smell too

    gear lever problem

well with the bent shaft it will cause it to leak when you replace the shaft I would get a seal too that is really odd about the oil it should have settled back down to level and I cant think of anything that would stop it settling

    gear lever problem

who cares....I dont not all of us are picky anyway it looks like your replacing that bent gear selecting rod! hope its not a full engine strip to do it! I dont get what you mean about the oil problem though

    ignition barrel

Yup buy the bits it's either that or drill them but chances are they have a pin in the centre which you will need to break off before you drill In my experience they are designed in such a way you can't get a hack saw to them
