  14. I can see the problem here He never used any water
  15. I usually find that if its not too much inconvenience to yourself following them scares the shit out of em
  16. The point I was trying to make was the manufacturers claims of a chain being resistant to bolt croppers/ hammers are not even slightly true. I see the same claims being made on ground anchors which is why I want to know if anyone has experience with them. Such as seeing marks on them where someone has clearly been trying to break it but its still standing. I like the look of the Y-anchor, seems to be the best option. ah no worries then I thought you was saying you want a ground anchor to stop them taking it but obviously the chain is the weak link no pun intended I could easily make them Y anchors I have seen them before and they look pretty good the only problem I can see is if you get water inside one where is it going to go
  17. so most parts can just be brushed with degreaser then and not have to be too careful
  18. you cant beat a bit of lube
  19. Not sure to be honest I just nicked some of my dads unfortunately I cant ask him as he is no longer with us plus if he was he wouldn't remember anyway but yeah I cant see dunking parts beena problem as all you do is squirt it on and it removes almost everything
  20. what parts are they? would it be worth you getting them vapour cleaned? I know a man who does this for a living and his work is out of this world ps he is my uncle
  21. this stuff is awesome http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/POR-15-MARINE ... vi-content marine clean degreaser you need a squirty bottle and you mix it with hot water the hotter the better I used to pour it out of the kettle and f**k me was it hard to handle but it is really really good I would say the best I have used
  22. you can get any reg/rec to work if you know what you are doing and are prepared to mess about with wiring (it is really simple) if your not wanting to mess with wiring then get one that fits but first check things out with a multimeter otherwise you could be replacing bit that are ok
  23. LOL, good plan!!! I did find these on eBay: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 1218821537 with OEM parts adding up to over 100quid, Racetech springs at 70quid, plus i got a quote from the bike shop saying it would cost 98+vat+parts if i carry the forks in, if these are as good as the advert suggests, it could be a cheap, quick option!! Thats all good and well but the springs could be too light of heavy for your weight and the bike could ride a lot worse than it does now! you may find the bike bottoms out if you are a bit porky or doesn't move if your a skinny twat it depends how they are sprung
  24. You will be
