    CLUTCH PROB!!! :D

my manual isnt for your bike so could be different!! you have to adjust the arm to a certain angle from a certain point that point could be anywhere on yours!!! once the arm is set to the right positiont you undu the nut and screw the screw in/out until it is just touching the push rod then hold the screw whilst you tighten the lock nut up i would wait around for walneyfrankie he may know as he used to have a bandit

if the bearings where worn forget the screw and nut and buy a full unit best way IMO they arent cheap though think i paid about £26 quid!!! and dont take it apart!!!!

    CLUTCH PROB!!! :D

how do you know the bearings have had it ? i have first hand experience with these had them in bits too many times and getting those bearings back in are a twat!!! the sometimes feel loose but they are usually fine the first thing that goes is the cage holding the bearings

    CLUTCH PROB!!! :D

the reason your clutch now doesnt work will be because you have moved something out of adjustment and it will need adjusting back as per the manual

  16. im off but im out on the piss the night before and i know for a fact i wont be home before 4.30am so wont be going anywhere
  17. why not go get a test ride on one or fire hoody a pm he used to own one
  18. http://www.ducati.com/bikes/my2005/comp ... n&x=46&y=6 yeah it is the ST4s that has the 996 the ST4 isnt on there anyway the st3 used prices start from £2790 could get a bargain and pick one up for 2500 if you could stretch that far but then there extra on a decent service!!! i would lean towards the blackbird still
  19. also in the ride mag theres a good test on the ST3 and triumph sprint st 1050 the ST3 is almost identical to the ST4 apart from the motor has a slightly bigger bore 996 as apposed to 992cc
  20. there is a good write up in octobers ride mag (thats this months as they are stupid and publish a month infront ) give loads of usefull info
  21. the blackbird is dirt cheap for servicing costs and there is some bargains to be had too personally even though i love ducati and love V twins i would go for the blackbird
  22. i stayed here in july http://www.glanaberhotel.com/ its in betws-y-coed which is in Snowdonia National Park some great roads round there as you probably already know they have a car park around the rear so bike would be safe rooms arent too bad and breakfast is good too

    NEW DISCS!!!

its hard to say if its normal rub without looking feeling listening etc etc personally i would take the bike for a short ride 5 miles or so and see how it is
