Good luck! I ripped my ACL off at the bone when I was 14 so too young for surgery. Over the years I tore my meniscus many times that my knee started popping out every now and then and I'd have to straighten it to pop it back. Then one day (when i was 24!!!) it came out when i was playing football and wouldn't go back and I could no longer walk. Had caused really bad damage to the meniscus to the point that it was unclear whether or not it was going to be repairable. Went in and had an operation to try and repair the meniscus and also hamstring graft for the ACL to be replaced. Took me more than a year to recover and it still causes me issues. If I was you, get the ACL repair done, if you read up on the stats online you'll find that there's a high probability of you tearing the meniscus again if you don't. Good luck anyway - it's a long road to recovery but worth getting it sorted to save trouble in the future. A little pick from a week after my op... http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/01/27/ehate4u8.jpg

Also nothing worse than finding a spider in your boots - only after you've squished it as you put your foot in :-S

Module 2 - members test experiences

I can't say for sure but I heard that you can't fail for taking the wrong turns. If you're in the wrong lane just take the wrong turn. Last minute lane changes are a fail I think??? -

My school hired the test course out for a couple of hours before the exam. We did all the slow stuff elsewhere and then spent the majority of the two hours going over and over the swerve manoeuvre - eventually it was just routine and didn't even need to think about it when I got to the test bit. Lots of revs through all the slow speed manoeuvres and widest turns possible through the cones in the middle. -
They sell something like this in Costco if you have one near you: http://www.bltllc.com/commercial_industrial_floor.htm I'd recommend that you seal it with a proper concrete sealer if possible- when I did mine I had some concrete sealer left over from when we did the tiles on the garden patio. Used it up in the garage and then finished off with PVA - can certainly tell a difference between the two different areas. Then, if you can afford it, go for the vinyl coverings as above link or the interlocking panels you mentioned. If like me you go for the painted option you'll only end up getting frustrated every time you put your bike away with wet tyres and you wheel it out to find it lifts a bit of the paint up

I sealed mine (was very dusty previously) then painted with garage floor paint. Has a lovely finish and is quite tough. The only problem is putting the bike away in the wet. The bike tyres stick to the floor and crack bits off when I roll it back out. If I was doing it again it buy some of the sheet material you can get from Costco - a bit more expensive though!!!

It's billing bike fest in a few weeks. I'm not sure I'll be going in case it's as rubbish as the one at the weekend.

Thanks for the invite mate. I had a lie in so was a little late up to make it over to Cambridgeshire. Maybe next time... Went to billing bike show in the end, definitely won't be going again next year!!!
