It's decent looking bike, leave it original. In fact, I bought my bike with big scrapes on the fairing, they're still there.

F*ck me! that's a decent job. -
A word of caution with the sump plug.... It's just like undoing any other nut, but you'll be upside down, be certain of spanner direction. I'm only saying this, because the only way I get it right is to use a ratchet and socket. This way I can get the loosey lefty bit correct before going underneath. It's very simple, more simple than the starter motor, so definitely just a word of caution.

Not to be immediately dismissed, but, I actually spend a lot of time looking on eBay. Sooooo many dealers still advertise their stock on there. It's much easier than using Google or Bing. You can grab dealers names from eBay, and visit their websites.

Hi @Dippers and welcome to the forum.... Nice choice of bike, by the way. Just to add to the above, you really only need to get your big toe under the lever to shift up. It'll be natural, soon enough.

But only an annoyance, and an expense. It'll be back and running before you know it. It's a fairly straightforward job to replace, and a pity that none of us are near enough to pop over to do it.
