  1. Well done mate
  2. Never tried a proper wheelie, popping the front on the power but only momentarily. Absolutely love winding it on as you go over a crest and hovering the front as you power down the other side. Had a few oh shit moments but got a feel for it now! Few good roads up here for that.
  3. I had bought this as my first helmet 2 years or so ago, passed my test plus a little bit of road use and it has sat on a shelf since. Anyone that will cover postage can have it for themselfs or as a pillion spare? XS matt black, has an internal flip down sun visor thingy.
  4. wash your mouth out!
  5. Front screen of mine is smashed. Dropped it on the carpet in my office, picked it up and though phew that was lucky... turned screen on amd noticed corner smashed to bits
  6. Its here! Im now a white van man
  7. Im using an s7 edge atm, wish id got the normal s7 as the corners/sides are a pita! Cant help but touch them as your using the phone and ends up doing allsorts you dont want it too. I should have kept the s5 but gave it to my sister
  8. Hoggs you little beauty! I bought some paddock stands from those guys a while back and was trying to remember their name as i knew they did these too.
  9. They look really good but £75 for the actual wheel chock
  10. Theres a couple options with the insurance, either my dad insures it with me as a named driver or i get the company to insure it whichever works out best. Looking at having 2 of these bolted down so 2 bikes can sit side by side in the van? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Motorcycle-Motorbike-Wheel-Chock-17-21-wheels-BIKE-Jack-Clamp-Stand-/361143901413?hash=item5415da9ce5:g:flEAAOSw0vBUhDD4
  11. What size kit do you think you would need?
  12. Classickid I admire your attitude towards getting stuck in and giving these things a go! Keep at it, you are so close to having it back in one piece.
  13. Picking it up at the weekend so going to order some stuff to secure 2 bikes in it. Anyone else use front wheel chock things bolted/welded to the floor? Where is the best place to buy them from?
  14. Me and my mate encountered this very early one day a few years back on a dual carriageway. We were sat at the limit when a police car came past about 15mph faster, my mate matched them keeping a 2 or 3 car distance. Panda car dropped back and the passenger cop gave us a slow down signal with a very stern expression. My mate shook his head and continued to follow until the police car dropped to the limit. Nothing happened but on the same trip he legitimately got a ticket from an average speeed camera lol.
  15. There might be a way i can get the owner of my company to insure it as a business vehicle, weve been toying with the idea of a company van but it would be used very little so never bothered. If i do it this way everyone is a winner!
  16. I entered social domestic and pleasure only for approx 2k miles a year. Put the value of the van low, infact the insurance was more than the value i entered for that! Only thing i can think is i went for fully comp, maybes tpft will be better? Definately want a van as planning on a few overnight stays with tracks further afield. Had conceded to just renting vans but this popped up and its well worth it if i can insure the bugger.
  17. Ive been looking for a van for a while now to take the bike on trackdays. Just this weekend i was doing some work on my dads van when a neighbours son pulled up and offered me his vivaro at a decent price. Had a quick compare the meerkat lastnight which came back more expensive than my car! Is this normal for van insurance or are there better places to be looking for quotes?
  18. I went later on yesterday, was nice and quiet from 3-6. Met Michael Dunlop, James Hillier and Leon Haslam. Had the new helmet custom fitted at arai too, great service!
  19. 30 will feel like your limit untill you push past it. Nice longish open road and open it up momentarily, come back down to 30 and feel like you could be overtaken by a mobility scooter.
  20. I use forcefield too, feels wrong not having it on! Also have their chest one but not done many rides since buying that. Going to sell them soon if anyones interested as my suit no longer fits and looking at held slade which has a full back protector within it.

    Cold Tyres

Been noticing alot of diesel on the roads lately. Also passed a gritter yesterday! Im guessing they were getting it prepared for the imminent cold snap.
  22. Ouch! Looks nasty from those pics. Glad you came out unharmed. Size leathers are you?
  23. I was thinking you had put an order in for the new gsxr! Congratulations mate
