Tried to spot it yesterday but as the app and website were down I didn't know the timings and it went by while I was being dragged round asda couple of good videos on the bbc manchester site
  5. From brand new to 3 years old most cars lose at least half their value. In fact a lot of owners would be over the moon if they got half back... Plus of course on trade in they have to resell and make a profit, so you'll get less that a private sale
  6. Don't think so...just get a proper optimate motorcycle or mixed use one. Spend now, save on batteries
  7. Ummm part of me wants to ask how that happened and part doesn't want to know what you do behind closed doors..
  8. Buy a decent jap bike, you'll sell in summer for pretty much what you paid for it. Then do DAS. That's my opinion anyway
  9. Yep, after cbt I did half day on 125, 2 days on 500 then on to 600 and full licence! Once you've ridden a 500 you'll hate going back to a 125
  10. What about company car drivers...all the cars suddenly jump up a few tax bands after people specifically chose the economy versions...
  11. As the seat on mine is a bugger to remove and replace...I cut the straps and put a plastic zip on the end of each one. The straps stay under the seat permanently and I just have a zip to remove/attach the bags.
  12. Hope to make it! Will not know until nearer the time
  13. Garage full of boxes with oh moving in...mot up in a week and can't even get to the bike (although can see it which is an improvement on last week)...not happy and not likely to be able to go
  14. Do we trust bob after the start of season meet...one job... Lol
  15. Yep its been discussed. Sjcams are the budget brand to go for. I've got the sj5000. Sj4000 is about 45 quid on ebay (watxh for the dodgy fakes) and comes with all the bits you could ever need to attach it. You will need a micro sd card and batteries only last 90 minutes so I bought a spare 2 online for about 7 quid. Depends how long you're riding.
  16. Battery as above. Maybe bad earth? Dodgy connection to starter?
  17. No I didn't mean filtering itself was a fail, but doing it badly will get you a fail - wrong observations or if they deem you filtered dangerously or at an inappropriate time. It's very subjective at times so why muddy the waters? I had the opportunity to filter on test, did as my instructor told me and stayed in the queue as its not a requirement to filter. The examiner didn't say a word and I didn't get a mark down.
  18. It's not required to filter on test, so why give yourself 1 extra way to fail? Just sit and watch your hour tick away in traffic!
  19. Don't fall off? Keep on top of observations and if you take a wromg turn, don't panic, as long as you did it safely its ok. First thing I did on my mod2 was take the wrong exit off the roundabout. Actually made me chuckle and relax a bit!
  20. From what I remember, if you're rifle target shooting you need to have been a member at a gun club for 3 months attending regularly and they have to sign you off as 'ok'. Then you apply to the police who will come round and check your gun cabinet which should be a big steel thing screwed to a wall. Not hugely complicated if you've got a clean history. Most expensive part is buying a gun usually!
