  1. Also, as your paying monthly on finance, you are gaining your credit score up, aslong as your not missing payments, you gain no bonus towards your credit score for paying a large amount of, (i learned this the hard way paying 2 bikes of a year early.) i know you never asked about it from the credit score side, but everything will soon become credit score related including mortgages etc.
  2. Was recommend to use powerhouse, a company in sheffield to buy parts for breaks and caliper, good and cheap, but if you want to skip doing it yourself, they can send you a new caliper as a trade in and a small fee (you have to pay a deposit until your calipers reach them if your trading for theirs i believe.) http://powerhouse.uk/content/motorcycle ... rvices.php
  3. This i went through 2-3 batterys before i realized it was this with the help from the forum.... <3
  4. Any update on this? When i'm 24 i'm wanting to do this. but with my own bike from the a2? I believe you can use the er6f for the full test? Would I have to ride there and take the throttle restriction out there? as i'd be insured I cannot see a problem with that, any one with experience there?
  5. made it home about 15mins ago, stopt of for a nap at cat and owens!
  6. Careful on them surprising turns this time
  7. That's a great point, never really thought of anything like that, i'll check that when i next wear them (if weather permits) it's good while not riding, but while riding motorway speeds is when it happens.
  8. And this now make's me think thermals? Does the brand really matter for thermals? That's a good idea, although i'll look a plonker with the rain cover coat on, but that might work! Thank's Joeman! Lidl base layers are pretty good. i have a spare top thats a bit tight for me. should fit you fine i reckon... yours for a beer if you want it? Sure, and i'm sure we'll be trading beers again at the rally regardless...

  10. Hello you lovely set of Bikers. A couple of month's ago, i was given a good set of leather's which fit very well, and i'm grateful millions for that (thanks cats) Now the problem is, i have a past sport injury which is in my right shoulder. I believe it was classed as a trapped nerve, and i really don't fancy having my shoulder torn over to cut and remove the nerve and remove what ever material is pressing on the nerve (bone, scar tissue, disc material etc) The issue i have is riding longer distance in leathers, especially on the motorway, where the cold wind is constantly pressing against my shoulder, i don't have this problem with textiles which is making me wonder how it's causing me to feel uncomfortable, and even had Jamberryking notice something is up while he is riding behind me. I've tried wearing a hoodie underneath leathers to see if that will aid the problem, which it did not seem to do. Now the obvious thing to do is to scrap weather leathers, but that's not a option as i'm wanting to try track days next year once i pass my test to take restriction out. I'm wondering if anyone on the forum has had a similar issue and knows any clothing product's which i can wear underneath leathers to stop as much (cold i'm guessing) getting in. If it was the wind pressure, surly i'd feel the discomfort while sporting textiles too?
  11. Managed to get some cheap decent ones for £30, got some undergloves thrown in for free to. not sure what i really wanted but for winter gloves they will do.
  12. it's cold, heated grips are available for a reason. most of my commuting is only 10miles at the most, which woulden't be worth waiting for them to heat up on the shorter journey, and i'd only do heated grips if i knew how to connect it to the ignition, not just the battery
  13. Hello guys im currently in need of some new gloves for summer/winter style, the only thing is they need to be waterproof and not get soaked inside as nothing is more frustrating than putting wet gloves on (except socks) Any recommendations that anyone can throw out? price range is around £100 at most. Edit: did not realize the pricing on gloves, throw some suggestions please, i'm a glove noob.

stu seems to turn em on now and again, then back off. mainly when some-one surpasses him so he can cheat himself likes without no-one noticing.
  18. Looking for a decent waterproof cover for my motorcycle as it's left outside. I'd prefer a cover over a £200+ shed as i can use a good cover while i go to friends and stay there, or when i visit family/move home. My last cover has vanished so i guess it's blown away some where never to return. Has anyone tried these covers? R&G covers where it covers all the motorcycle and zips up? Im curious if i can still chain my motorcycle to ground anchors efficiently. Similar to this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-R-G-Adven ... 3cd8dc959f
  19. rougly 3-4 hours. And i had my camera mist up, but went down to the lens, which is easily unscrewed.
  20. Hello after testing it for quite some time it seems to work flawless, only problem i have had is the sticky pads only working once, which i did not know as i misplaced it. Ordered new ones and perfect. Spare battery works a treat, only downside of the camera is the amount of time it can run.
